Lee was waived by the Lions on Thursday.
The ex-49er was exclusively deployed on special teams during his time in Detroit, after starting on defense six times for San Francisco between 2018 and 2019. Lee's best season came two years ago when he racked up 65 tackles, one sack and a forced fumble, but his 2020 stint with the Lions was uneventful as he accumulated just two total tackles in limited work.
