Hawkins was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Over the last three games, Hawkins has been operating as the starting free safety in place of Erik Harris (pectoral), so his potential absence would be a big blow to Atlanta's secondary. If he's unable to clear protocols ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Bills, then Shawn Williams would likely draw the start opposite of Duron Harmon.
