Elliss was held out of Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
The 29-year-old inside linebacker out of Idaho missed some time with a knee injury toward the end of July, and he's now expected to miss even more time due to a groin issue. Elliss was the Falcons' second-leading tackler in 2023, recording 122 total tackles across 17 regular-season appearances. Don't be surprised if Atlanta is cautious with Elliss' injury, as he's such an integral part of the team's defense.
