Sheffield (hamstring) won't play in the Falcons' Week 11 contest against the Patriots on Thursday, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Sheffield's season debut will get pushed back one more week as the cornerback is still not ready to see the field. Expect Sheffield to assume a depth role in Atlanta's secondary once he is able to play again. The cornerback's next chance to make his debut will be in Week 12 against the Jaguars.
