There's no need for a long introduction into the Week 12 Start 'Em & Sit 'Em. It's Thanksgiving week, and you're excited to spend time with your family and friends, eat some (hopefully) delicious food and watch football. It will be great if your Fantasy Football teams win as well.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone reading this column, as well as watching our Fantasy Football Today show on CBS Sports HQ and listening to our podcast. You guys make this job fun, and we appreciate all of your interaction and contributions to our content, especially with #AskFFT on Twitter.

The stretch run of the Fantasy season is here, and we hope to lead you to the playoffs and an eventual championship. Good luck in your matchups in Week 12, and thank you for sticking with us all season.

Editor's Note: Projections are provided by CBS Sports and not Jamey Eisenberg. Projected points are for PPR leagues.

Russell Wilson has not been a good Fantasy quarterback of late. Since coming back from a four-game absence with a broken finger, Wilson has combined for 13 Fantasy points in his past two outings against Green Bay and Arizona. He has no touchdowns over that span with two interceptions and a combined 368 passing yards.

He looks lost, and the Seattle offense is in disarray. It would be easy to give up on him as a starting Fantasy quarterback, especially if you're fighting for a playoff berth. But I'm standing by Wilson this week at Washington.

For starters, he loves playing on Monday Night Football. He's 10-2 in his career on Monday night, and hopefully he puts on a show in prime time once again. He can show the world that he's still one of the best quarterbacks in the league -- and in Fantasy.

It helps that he's facing a Washington defense that is No. 1 in Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Washington allows an average of 27.7 Fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, and only three quarterbacks have failed to score at least 26 Fantasy points per game against Washington this year.

Wilson should be able to connect with D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and potentially Gerald Everett (consider him a sleeper tight end) against this secondary. And it will be great if Wilson runs a little as well, which he did in Week 10 at Green Bay with 32 yards.

It's been a rough season for Wilson with the broken finger and then the poor performances in his return. But he will turn things around this week on Monday night at Washington. I'm confident in Wilson having a big game, and you should trust him as well. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Wilson will be cooking in Week 12.

Cousins has been great in some tough matchups of late. He's scored at least 21 Fantasy points in each of his past three outings against Baltimore, the Chargers and Green Bay, with two of those games (at BAL and at LAC) on the road. He's actually averaging 27.0 Fantasy points per game on the road, and he should continue to play well against the 49ers. San Francisco has been stingy against opposing quarterbacks of late with no quarterback scoring more than 17 Fantasy points in the past three games against Arizona, the Rams and Jacksonville, but I'm trusting Cousins to deliver a strong performance as a potential top-five quarterback in all leagues.

Stafford comes off his bye hopefully refocused and ready to go after scoring 14 Fantasy points or less in each of his past two games against Tennessee and San Francisco. He's still adjusting to life without Robert Woods (ACL) and with Odell Beckham, and it would be great if Stafford started looking like the quarterback who scored at least 21 Fantasy points in seven of his first eight games. He has a familiar opponent to do it against with the Packers, and the former Lions quarterback is averaging 304 passing yards per game in his past five games at Lambeau Field, with four outings with multiple touchdown passes over that span. I'm trusting Stafford in this spot, and he should rebound in Week 12.

Newton didn't get the homecoming he wanted in Week 11 against Washington since the Panthers lost 27-21, but he still had a great Fantasy game with 29 points. He passed for 189 yards and two touchdowns and added 46 rushing yards and a touchdown, and he's capable of doing that on a weekly basis. The Dolphins have allowed three quarterbacks to rush for at least 33 yards in a game this season, including Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in two of the past four games. And for the season, Miami allows an average of 21.6 Fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Newton has top-10 upside this week.

The return of Dallas left tackle Tyron Smith (ankle) is more important for Prescott than having Amari Cooper (COVID-19) and CeeDee Lamb (concussion) for this game. Prescott should be fine with Michael Gallup, Ced Wilson and Dalton Schultz, as well as Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard out of the backfield. Prescott might not be a top-five Fantasy quarterback with a depleted receiving corps, but he should still be a top-10 starter. And the Raiders have allowed three of the past five opposing quarterbacks to score at least 23 Fantasy points, which is a total Prescott should be able to reach on Thanksgiving Day.

Garoppolo is averaging 21.8 Fantasy points per game in his past four outings, and now he faces a Vikings defense in Week 12 that allows the seventh-most Fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this year. Heinicke scored 28 Fantasy points at Carolina in Week 11, and hopefully he stays hot against Seattle in Week 12 at home Monday night. The Seahawks just allowed 26 Fantasy points against Colt McCoy in Week 11 at home, and this game has the feel of a shootout. Heinicke is a solid streamer in this matchup.

Tannehill was a train wreck against Houston in Week 11 with four interceptions, and there's no way you can trust him this week at the Patriots, especially if A.J. Brown (chest) is out. He's already down Julio Jones (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (hamstring), and this is a terrible matchup on the road. New England is No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and the past five quarterbacks against the Patriots have scored 16 Fantasy points or less.

Carr is struggling lately with 11 Fantasy points or less in two of his past three games. I don't expect him to be great on a short week on the road, and the Cowboys have been tough on opposing quarterbacks of late. In their past six games, Dallas has allowed just Teddy Bridgewater in Week 9 to score more than 19 Fantasy points, including matchups with Cousins, Matt Ryan and Patrick Mahomes. Ryan and Mahomes combined for seven Fantasy points in the past two weeks. Carr is only worth using in two-quarterback and Superflex leagues.

Ryan is due for a bounceback game, and he can't exactly get much worse. But it's hard to trust him in this spot. He's scored seven Fantasy points or less in three of his past four outings, and he has no touchdowns and four interceptions in his past two games against Dallas and New England. The Jaguars aren't a pushover based on the way their defense has played lately, so don't consider this a soft landing spot. In Jacksonville's past three games against Josh Allen, Carson Wentz and Garoppolo, those quarterbacks have combined for 35 Fantasy points. Ryan might get Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) back this week, but he's still without Calvin Ridley (personal), which is clearly a problem.

Tagovailoa did fine as the Start of the Week in Week 11 at the Jets with 20 Fantasy points, but I was hoping for more. We'll see if he can deliver this week against the Panthers, but I would look elsewhere in one-quarterback leagues. Carolina has allowed one quarterback to score more than 18 Fantasy points in the past four games, and the Panthers give up an average of just 17.0 Fantasy points per game to the position for the season. I would only start Tagovailoa in two-quarterback and Superflex leagues.

I started the week optimistic about Roethlisberger for this matchup against the Bengals, but some things have changed. If the Steelers get back T.J. Watt (hip/knee), Joe Haden (foot) and Minkah Fitzpatrick (COVID-19) as expected, I don't envision Roethlisberger dramatically chasing points like we saw in Week 11 at the Chargers since this game should be tighter. Roethlisberger also has a bad history in Cincinnati with one game with multiple touchdown passes in his past five trips there going back to 2015. And the Bengals also allow an average of just 18.0 Fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this year. Only use Roethlisberger in two-quarterback and Superflex leagues.

Montgomery's best game of the season came in Week 4 against the Lions when he had 23 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns. That's the last time he scored because he missed four games with a knee injury and hasn't found the end zone in two games since his return, so he's due. He has five total touchdowns in his past four games against Detroit, and the Lions have allowed five total touchdowns to opposing running backs in their past four games and 17 total touchdowns for the season. Montgomery has top-10 upside in all leagues this week.

The Giants have a new player caller in Freddie Kitchens after offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was fired Tuesday, and that should be good for Barkley. The focus should be on getting him the ball as much as possible, especially after he had just 12 total touches (six catches) in Week 11 at Tampa Bay. Now, that was his first game back after a four-game absence due to an ankle injury, but he should get at least 20 total touches on a weekly basis whenever he's on the field. This week, Barkley faces an Eagles defense that he's beat up on historically. In four career meetings with Philadelphia, Barkley has three outings with a touchdown and at least 115 total yards in the same game. Barkley has breakout potential this week at home.

This is a good week to trust Gibson, who seems back to his old self after dealing with a shin injury earlier this season. Since coming off the Week 9 bye, Gibson has consecutive games with at least 19 total touches against Tampa Bay and Carolina. He's averaging 14.0 PPR points over that span, and he has a favorable matchup this week against the Seahawks, who are No. 2 in Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Seattle has allowed seven running backs to score at least 12 PPR points in the past six games, and the Seahawks are among the league leaders in receptions allowed to running backs, which helps J.D. McKissic as a flex option in PPR.

Sanders returned from his three-game absence with an ankle injury in Week 11 against the Saints and ran well with 16 carries for 94 yards. Unfortunately, he lost a fumble in the game and didn't have a catch on one target, but Jordan Howard (knee) was also injured and is out for Week 12 at the Giants. That should allow Sanders to keep a consistent workload, and hopefully he finds the end zone against the Giants, who have allowed seven running backs to score at least 13 PPR points in the past six games. Howard's absence also makes Boston Scott a sleeper, and he has six total touchdowns against the Giants in his past four meetings.

I like Gordon and Javonte Williams as starters this week, and both Broncos running backs should take advantage of a Chargers defense without defensive tackle Linval Joseph (COVID-19). The Chargers defense has struggled against the run all season, and they have allowed seven running backs to score at least 13 PPR points against them in the past six games. Gordon has at least 17 PPR points in two of his past three outings, and this is a revenge game for him. And Williams has scored at least 11 PPR points in two of his past four games. I'd love to see Williams take the lead in this backfield, but Gordon is still the preferred choice heading into Week 12 -- for now.

As of Wednesday, there's no guarantee that Mitchell will play as he's still dealing with a broken finger. Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Mitchell was day-to-day, so hopefully he's out there. But whether it's Mitchell or Jeff Wilson, consider the 49ers starter a quality Fantasy option in all leagues against the Vikings. Minnesota will be without defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (COVID-19) for this game, and fellow defensive tackle Michael Pierce (elbow) is still out. That should help Mitchell or Wilson have easier success on the ground. Don't plan on using Wilson in most leagues if Mitchell is active, and he scored at least 12 PPR points in three of his past four games.

Johnson and Tevin Coleman are both in play this week with Michael Carter (ankle) out. Most likely, Coleman will play on rushing downs, with Johnson continuing to have a role in the passing game. Based on the Jets offense this season, I like Johnson better than Coleman. Johnson, in tandem with Carter, scored at least 11 PPR points in four of his past six games, including three games with at least five catches over that span. Coleman hasn't done much this season and missed four games due to injury but is likely going to run between the tackles. This week, the Jets face the Texans, who have allowed a running back to score a touchdown in seven of their past eight games.

Johnson and Rex Burkhead are both in play this week with their matchup against the Jets, and it helps that Phillip Lindsay is no longer on the team. The Texans have the best matchup of any backfield in Week 12 against the Jets, who are No. 1 in Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Johnson just had 16 total touches in Week 11 at Tennessee (three catches) but scored only five PPR points. And Burkhead had 18 carries for 40 yards with no catches. I like Johnson better in PPR, with Burkhead slightly better in non-PPR, but both Texans are in consideration for flex plays in Week 12.

Pollard can be considered a borderline starter in all leagues this week against the Raiders. Ezekiel Elliott is expected to be fine, but he's dealing with a slight knee injury that could limit his touches. That could lead to more work for Pollard, and he could be needed with Dallas' injuries at wide receiver. The Cowboys also get a boost with the healthy return of standout left tackle Tyron Smith (ankle). Pollard hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 2 and has scored more than nine PPR points just twice in his past six games. But the Raiders have allowed four running backs to score at least 15 PPR points in their past four games, and I hope Pollard and Elliott go off in this matchup.

Matt Breida's involvement the past two games, as well as the matchup with the Saints, means you should sit Moss and Devin Singletary this week. Moss hasn't topped 10 PPR points since Week 5, and he has just one touchdown over that span. He's been at eight carries or less in five games in a row and seven total touches or less in three consecutive outings. Brieda looks more explosive than Moss and Singletary, but none of these running backs should be started against the Saints, who are No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.

Foreman will be the lead running back with Adrian Peterson no longer on the team, but we're still looking at a committee for the Titans with Dontrell Hilliard and Jeremy McNichols (concussion) if he's healthy. Based on how this game should go, I like Hilliard as a sleeper in PPR, and I would prefer to avoid Foreman in most formats. The Patriots have allowed just two rushing touchdowns to a running back all season, but they do struggle with running backs in the passing game. Hilliard just had eight catches for 47 yards on 10 targets in Week 11 against Houston, and he could be needed again with the injuries for the Titans at receiver. Foreman should only be used as a flex option in deeper, non-PPR leagues. Hilliard is a strong flex play in PPR if McNichols remains out.

Gaskin is more of a bust alert than a must-sit running back, but this could be a tough spot for him. He's facing a Panthers defense that is No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and they allow the fewest receptions to running backs with only 33 on the season. Along with that, Carolina has allowed just five touchdowns to running backs all year. Gaskin has one rushing touchdown on the season, and he only has four receptions in his past two games against the Ravens and Jets. I like Gaskin as more of a flex play at best in Week 12 given the matchup.

It's hard to sit Jacobs, but he's struggling lately and could have another down outing against the Cowboys. Jacobs hasn't scored a touchdown in three games in a row, and he's been at nine carries or less in each of his past two outings against Kansas City and Cincinnati. Now, he does have at least four catches in three games in a row, which is encouraging. But the Cowboys are No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs and have only given up six total touchdowns to the position all season. I still have Jacobs ranked as a low-end starter in all leagues, with his value higher in PPR, but I'm not optimistic he's going to have a big game on Thanksgiving Day.

In six complete games with Russell Wilson this year, Lockett has three with at least 15 PPR points and three with seven PPR points or less. That's what you get with Lockett, and you just have to hope this is one of his bigger outings. I'll take my chances with him against Washington, which is No. 4 in Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. For the season, Washington has allowed 16 touchdowns to opposing receivers and 18 to score at least 12 PPR points. Look for Lockett and D.K. Metcalf to both go off Monday night.

I'm sticking with Moore even with Zach Wilson under center, and Moore just continues to produce with at least 12 PPR points in four games in a row, including two games with at least 27 PPR points over that span. He also has at least six targets in each of his past five games. Moore should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in Week 12 against the Texans, who have allowed nine receivers to score at least 11 PPR points in their past four games. With Wilson back, I also like Corey Davis as a sleeper in this matchup, and Davis had at least 14 PPR points in three of the first six games that Wilson started.

Aiyuk is back as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues. He's scored at least 18 PPR points in two of his past three games and has at least seven targets in three of his past four outings heading into a favorable matchup with the Vikings, who are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers and missing guys on the defensive line this week. Seven receivers have scored at least 17 PPR points against Minnesota in the past four games, which bodes well for Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel.

Cooks was a letdown in Week 11 at Tennessee with two catches for 18 yards on three targets, but I expect a rebound game against the Jets. He had at least six targets in each of his previous four outings, with 40 total targets over that span, and Tyrod Taylor should continue to feature Cooks in this matchup. The Jets have allowed eight receivers to score at least 13 PPR points in their past four games, and this is a blow-up spot for Cooks at home.

Mooney is the No. 1 receiver for the Bears, especially with Allen Robinson (hamstring) hurt, and Mooney scored at least 12 PPR points in four of his past five games. In Week 11 against Baltimore with Robinson out, Mooney had five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown on a whopping 16 targets. And now he faces Detroit in Week 12, and the Lions have allowed seven receivers to score at least 13 PPR points in their past five games. You can also consider Marquise Goodwin a sleeper in deeper leagues.

I hope the performance we got from Claypool on Monday night at the Chargers is a sign of things to come after he had five catches for 93 yards on nine targets. He has five games this season with at least six targets, and he's scored at least 14 PPR points in three of them. Ben Roethlisberger needs to continue feeding Claypool as the No. 2 option in the passing game behind Diontae Johnson, and Claypool should benefit with Ray-Ray McCloud (COVID-19) out. Claypool also had at least 18 PPR points in two of his past three meetings with the Bengals, including Week 3 when he had nine catches for 96 yards on 15 targets.

The Cowboys might get CeeDee Lamb (concussion) back for this game, but Amari Cooper (COVID-19) is out, which bodes well for Gallup. With Cooper out in Week 11 at Kansas City and Lamb hurt at halftime, Gallup had 10 targets but managed just five catches for 44 yards. Still, I like him as a borderline Fantasy starter in all leagues against the Raiders, who have allowed six receivers to score at least 12 PPR points in their past five games.

Slight revenge game opportunity here for Sanders, who spent 2020 with the Saints. He's due for a big game after scoring 10 PPR points or less in each of his past four outings, and he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6. The Saints are No. 7 in Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and this could be the week where Sanders breaks out of his slump. He's worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in deeper leagues.

Jones and Laviska Shenault are both in play this week as No. 3 receivers with Jamal Agnew (hip) out. Jones has just one touchdown since Week 2 and one game with more than nine PPR points since Week 3. Shenault has yet to catch a touchdown this season and has combined for 21 PPR points in his past four games. But the Falcons are tied for third in most touchdowns allowed to receivers this season with 14, so hopefully Jones or Shenault can deliver in this matchup. Give Jones the slight nod over Shenault if you're deciding between the two.

Landry scored a rushing touchdown last week against the Lions, but he's yet to catch a touchdown this year. He's been at 26 receiving yards or less in each of his past three games, and it's clear he's playing at less than 100 percent with a knee injury. Baker Mayfield is also banged up, and this is a passing game to avoid, even with a favorable matchup against the Ravens in Week 12.

Golladay will likely see more than the two targets he had in Week 11 at Tampa Bay, and his lack of involvement is likely part of the reason Jason Garrett was fired as offensive coordinator. But even if a barrage of targets are headed in Golladay's direction this week, I don't like the matchup against the Eagles as long as Darius Slay (concussion) is healthy. The Eagles are No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and Golladay has yet to catch a touchdown this year. He also has just one game with more than 10 PPR points.

Beckham had the bye in Week 11 to get himself more comfortable with the Rams offense, but I still want to see him produce before trusting him as a Fantasy asset in most leagues. After signing with the Rams prior to Week 10, he didn't do much at San Francisco with two catches for 18 yards on three targets. He should be better than that, and the Rams need him with Robert Woods (ACL) out. But this is a tough Green Bay secondary that is No. 8 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. And the last time Beckham scored a touchdown was Week 4 of last season. He's overdue to find the end zone, but I need to see it happen first before starting him in most leagues.

It might be time to start worrying about Higgins and his production. He hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 2, and he has as many games with 13 PPR points (three) as he does with 10 PPR points or less (three) in his past six outings. He just had two catches for 15 yards on three targets in Week 11 at Las Vegas, and he's now facing a Steelers defense expecting to get T.J. Watt (knee/hip), Joe Haden (foot) and Minkah Fitzpatrick (COVID-19) back after all three were out last week at the Chargers. I'm still starting Higgins as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues, but he's trending down based on his lack of touchdowns and inconsistent play this year.

I put Sutton in this spot because Fantasy managers might be excited to use him after he just signed a four-year, $60.8 million contract extension Monday, including $34.9 million guaranteed. That's great for him, but his Fantasy production hasn't been great lately. In four games with Jerry Jeudy on the field this year, Sutton has combined for 15 PPR points. In his past three games with Jeudy, Sutton has five catches for 78 yards on nine targets, and Teddy Bridgewater hasn't treated Sutton like a go-to option. The Chargers are No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and I would try to avoid Sutton and Tim Patrick in most leagues. Jeudy is just a No. 3 Fantasy receiver, but I like him the best since Bridgewater has given him 17 targets in his past two games.

Freddie Kitchens will hopefully help things improve for Engram as the new play caller in New York, and this is the perfect week to feature Engram on offense. Engram had his two-game scoring streak snapped in Monday night's loss at Tampa Bay, but there's a great opportunity to rebound in Week 12 against the Eagles. Philadelphia is No. 1 in Fantasy points allowed to tight ends, and the Eagles have allowed a tight end to score or gain at least 77 receiving yards in nine games in a row, with nine touchdowns over that span. Thomas is on track to return this week after being out since Week 4 with a hamstring injury. He scored at least nine PPR points in his first three games this season, with two touchdowns over that span, and he should return as a low-end starter in all Fantasy leagues. This week, he's facing a Seahawks defense that just allowed Zach Ertz to catch eight passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets in Week 11. It would be great if Thomas did half of that this week.

I wish I had Arnold in this spot last week when he had no targets against the 49ers. It snapped a three-game streak of Arnold scoring at least 10 PPR points, and he had at least seven targets in each of those outings. He'll rebound this week against the Falcons, but not to the point of where you can trust him as a starter in all leagues. He's still looking for his first touchdown this year, and the Falcons have allowed just one tight end to score since Week 2. Arnold is not worth using in non-PPR leagues, and he's only a low-end option in deeper PPR formats.

In three games without Derrick Henry (foot), Bullock has combined for 16 Fantasy points. He has three field goals and seven PATs over that span, and this offense has sputtered. Now, the Titans might be without A.J Brown (chest) going into New England, and the Patriots are No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers. Bullock is not worth starting in most leagues.
