The first Week 18 in the history of Fantasy Football is a lot like Week 17 used to be, or Week 16 before that. More than 80% of leagues are over, but there's still plenty to discuss.
We'll break down DFS more in depth this week, and we'll start talking 2022. For those of you more interested in 2022, Jamey Eisenberg will have our early 2022 rankings published next week. For those of you interested in beyond 2022, I'll have a full Dynasty update the week after that. And yes, for those of you playing Week 18, I have waiver wire adds below.
The one thing that remains constant from Week 18 to 2022 to my Dynasty rankings is Jonathan Taylor at the top. The 22-year-old has run for more than 100 yards in seven of his past eight games and has outscored every other running back by at least 40 Fantasy points this season. In Week 18 he gets the Jacksonville Jaguars with his team's season on the line. If he runs for 97 yards in that game he'll become just the third running back ever to top 3,000 yards before his age 23 season. He might double that.
We expect Antonio Gibson back, which is why Patterson isn't projected any higher. But he would be a borderline top-12 back if Washington chooses to hold Gibson out.
Even with his recent success, Singletary isn't getting the love from the community he deserves. He has top-10 upside against one of the best matchups for running backs.
