When is the right time to change how you value a player in your Fantasy Football rankings? Well, it all depends on the player, of course; Brandon Aiyuk going from the 49ers presumed No. 1 WR to battling for the No. 2 spot through two games is an obvious reason to move him down -- and he's No. 60 for me for Week 3. It will be just as obvious if you have to move him up because it will coincide with a big increase in his playing time.

It's hard to answer for someone like D.J. Moore, who is off to a good start and has some things clearly working in his favor -- a big increase in target share and an apparent shift in roles for himself and Robby Anderson, his primary competition for targets last season. But is that enough to justify moving him up? Would we be moving him up if he had two fewer targets through two games or had been overthrown on his touchdown in Week 2? Moore is up to WR13 for me for Week 3, but I'll admit it may be an overreaction, sure.

It's easier to say definitively if a player is worth shifting significantly at running back, because so much more is tied to volume and usage there. At wide receiver, it can take longer for important changes to become obvious.

Here's my first crack at it for this week along with my thoughts on a bunch of the most interesting players to rank in Week 3:
