Washington reinstated Sims (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday.

The NFL's decision to push back Washington's Week 15 game against the Eagles from Sunday to Tuesday provided enough time for Sims -- and likely more players to follow -- to clear all COVID-19-related protocols and help alleviate some depth concerns for the Football Team, which still has 13 members of the roster on the list and several more on injured reserve. The receiver room is one of the few position groups on the roster that hasn't been hit hard by COVID-19-related absences or injury, so Sims likely won't be in store for a sizable role Week 15. Sims saw extra work Week 14 against Dallas after top wideout Terry McLaurin exited early with a concussion, but McLaurin practiced fully Sunday for the second day in a row and appears on track to clear the NFL's five-step protocol for head injuries before Tuesday's game.
