Heinicke completed 25 of 37 pass attempts for 268 yards, one touchdown and one interception against Green Bay on Sunday, adding 95 rushing yards on 10 carries.

Heinicke also lost a fumble, which combined with the interception proved costly in the 24-10 road loss. On the other hand, Heinicke's supporting cast is beat up at every position, and other than Terry McLaurin (seven catches for 122 yards and one touchdown on 12 targets) there aren't any pass catchers for Heinicke to lean on. Dyami Brown (knee) left the game, and Washington went into Sunday already without right guard Brandon Scherff (knee), right tackle Samuel Cosmi (ankle), wideout Curtis Samuel (groin) and tight end Logan Thomas (hamstring). There's a chance Thomas could return soon, as he's eligible to be activated from IR before Week 8, which could provide Heinicke a meaningful boost as Washington heads to Denver on Sunday.
