Heinicke completed 16 of 22 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 27-21 win over the Panthers. He also rushed six times for 29 yards.

Heinicke turned in a great performance against his former team, connecting on a trio of red-zone touchdowns before helping Washington seal the game late. It marked just the second time in Heinicke's career that he threw for three scores in a game, and he also didn't commit a turnover for the second straight week. For good measure, Heinicke pitched in some useful yardage on the ground as well. Following his triumph in Carolina on Sunday, Heinicke will now turn his attention toward a Monday night matchup versus Seattle in Week 12.
