Colbert (shoulder) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Colbert is eligible to play in Sunday's game against the Browns, and he has a 21-day window to be activated. Once he returns, Colbert likely will operate in a reserve role behind starters Jabrill Peppers and Logan Ryan.
