Cloyd may be in line for increased playing time after teammate Matthew Adams left Saturday's preseason game at Houston with a groin injury.
With Adams unavailable, Cloyd could get a share of the reps at linebacker left behind. In his final college season at Miami, he recorded 44 tackles (21 solo), including 2.0 sacks.
