Toney caught four of five targets for 26 yards and completed a 19-yard pass in Monday night's 20-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Toney made his return from an ankle injury and began by finding fellow wideout Sterling Shepard on an end-around pass. Although he only made one reception himself in the first half, Toney got more involved with Shepard (quadriceps) being unavailable in the second. That is, until Toney was briefly examined for a reported hand issue, but the rookie was ultimately able to finish the contest. In doing so, he didn't manage any explosive plays, but given the Giants' offensive injuries, opportunity knocks for Toney should he remain available in Week 9 versus the Raiders.
