Nassib (elbow) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, ESPN.com's Jordan Raanan reports.
Nassib has been bothered by a sore elbow for much of the past two months, and with the quarterback apparently not showing enough improvement, he'll be shut down for the final two weeks of the season. Josh Johnson will continue to serve as the backup to starting quarterback Eli Manning the rest of the way.
