Giants' Sterling Shepard: Impresses in minicamp

Shepard ran with the first team and caught more passes than anyone during the Giants minicamp, including a touchdown from quarterback Eli Manning, the team's web site reports. "He's going to be a phenomenal player," said fellow wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. "He can run routes. He can catch. He pretty much can do it all."

Beckham's praise aside, Shepard should have a significant role from Day 1 even if Victor Cruz is able to make it back to full speed.
