Burgess (hamstring) was waived/injured by the Browns on Tuesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Burgess was considered week-to-week with his hamstring injury, so being waived is certainly a surprising outcome. Burgess will revert to the Browns' injured reserve after clearing waivers.
