The Seahawks released Reed (undisclosed) on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After five successful seasons with Seattle, Reed will look to suit up elsewhere in 2021. While his injury status is unclear at the time, when healthy, the 28-year-old plays a three-down role on the defensive front. Reed recorded 38 tackles (20 solo), 6.5 sacks, one pass breakup and a forced fumble in 16 games during 2020.
