McKinley (undisclosed) was waived from IR with an injury settlement by the Steelers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
McKinley was set to sit out the 2022 campaign after he reverted to Pittsburgh's injured reserve list from waivers last Friday. Now, he will be free to sign with a new team heading into the regular season.
