Kaufusi was promoted to the Jets' 53-man roster Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Kaufusi spent four days on the active roster in October, and has otherwise been on the Jets' practice squad. The 27-year-old provides some depth on the defensive line, and takes the roster spot of Darron Lee following his four-game suspension.
