GM Joe Douglas released a statement Monday announcing that New York "will not trade" Reddick after his request to be moved.
Douglas' statement also confirms "[Reddick] will continue to be fined per the CBA if he does not report." Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports that the Jets made a contract offer to Reddick, who has one year remaining on his current deal, prior acquiring him via trade from the Eagles, but that the veteran pass rusher turned down that offer. Reddick has since held out of the offseason program and training camp, culminating in his trade request Monday. Unless one side becomes willing to budge, it appears that Reddick's holdout will continue indefinitely.
