Sherwood stepped into a larger role in Mosley's absence Sunday, and he will be tasked with relaying play calls to the Jets' defense for Thursday's AFC East matchup. The 2021 fifth-round pick has accrued 16 tackles (11 solo) and one pass defended over the first two games of the regular season.
