Joyner signed a one-year, $4.5 million deal with the Jets on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The move locks in Joyner as a versatile secondary piece alongside incumbent safety Marcus Maye. Joyner hasn't played a full 16-game season since 2015, but he's missed a total of 11 games over a five-year stretch and can slide in as a slot corner when needed.
