Ammendola made two of three field-goal attempts and converted his only PAT attempt in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Texans.
Ammendola sandwiched a 42-yard miss in between makes from 31 and 37. Coach Robert Saleh hinted earlier that the Jets could bring in a different kicker if Ammendola's accuracy issues persist, and the rookie didn't make a strong case for keeping his job with this performance.
