Coach Robert Saleh said Monday that he expects Becton (knee) to be sidelined for the final two games of the regular season, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
Becton has been sidelined since mid-September after he underwent knee surgery, but the Jets were hopeful that he'd be able to return late in the season. Although the 22-year-old didn't suffer a setback in his recovery, he's unlikely to be cleared in time for the final two games of the year. George Fant should continue to serve as the Jets' starting left tackle.
