The Jets officially placed Enunwa (neck) on injured reserve Friday, Connor Hughes of The Star-Ledger reports.
Enunwa suffered a non-contact injury during the Jets' green-and-white scrimmage in early August, which was eventually revealed to be a bulging disk. After a procedure to repair the issue, he was in line for a 6-to-9-month recovery, effectively ruling him out for the season. Now that he's officially on IR, the receiving corps will be in the hands of Robby Anderson and newcomer Jermaine Kearse at the outset of the season.
