Phillips (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Saints on Friday, Josh Katzenstein of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Phillips missed the beginning of training camp after undergoing an appendectomy and then found himself on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury at the close of the preseason. The veteran tight end had five receptions for 32 yards in eight games with the Saints last season.
