Melifonwu has been out of action since Week 2. The Lions' 2021 third-round selection had played a total of 42 snaps on defense with two tackles and a pass defensed before the injury. With AJ Parker (ankle) placed on IR last week, Melifonwu's return will help bolster the depth in the Lions' secondary.
