Patrick (undisclosed) was placed on the active/non-football injury list Sunday.
Patrick joined the Lions in May after spending all of last season on injured reserve with the Broncos. He was expected to compete for a depth role in the Lions' linebacker unit, but any missed practice time could lower his chances of making the squad.
