Marken Michel: Waived by Washington

The Commanders waived Michel on Tuesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Michel caught four of 12 targets for 58 yards across three preseason games, but he finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline. The 29-year-old wideout made his NFL debut in 2020 with Carolina and went without a catch across two appearances.
