Bulaga (back) is expected to play Thursday against the Bears, PackersNews.com reports. "I know Bryan and his history," head coach Mike McCarthy said, "It's going to take a big, big injury to keep him out of a football game."

In an attempt to recover QB Aaron Rodgers' costly second half fumble Sunday, Bulaga dove for the ball but was nailed in the back as a scrum of players piled on top. He tried to continue playing but eventually left the game for good in the fourth quarter. However, while his head coach's words undoubtedly carry weight, the Packers are on a short week, and it may not be a realistic expectation for Bulaga to be ready by Thursday night. The severity of his injury remains unspecified, though, so it's hard to say for sure. If he is ultimately ruled out, rookie Jason Spriggs will get the starting nod.
