Coach Matt LaFleur singled out Alexander (thumb) on Monday as a player he's excited to get back on the field for training camp, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packer's official site reports.

LaFleur's comments serve as a hint that Alexander, who broke his right thumb in the NFC Championship Game, isn't in line for any limitations when training camp kicks off. He also named Alexander as a player who's excelled in virtual meetings, despite the difficulties of a shortened in-person offseason. The Packers clearly expect big things from a fully healthy Alexander heading into Year 3, with defensive backs coach Jerry Gray having compared the 23-year-old's physicality to former All Pro Samari Rolle, and his vision to three-time Pro Bowler DeAngelo Hall.
