The Packers added Callahan to their active roster Saturday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Callahan's promotion raises an eyebrow with fellow quarterback Aaron Rodgers slowed by a calf injury, but at this point the roster move seems precautionary, as there has been no indication Rodgers will not play in Sunday's game against the Bears. Callahan will slot in as the Packers' No. 3 quarterback behind Brett Hundley.
