Coach Ron Rivera said Thursday that Kalil (shoulder) could miss part or all of the Panthers' OTAs, but is on track to be ready for the start of the season, Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer reports.

Kalil finished the season on injured reserve after undergoing surgery to repair his right shoulder in November. Although his status for the team's early offseason work seems to be in doubt, the veteran should be a full go once the season gets underway. Fortunately, Person is reporting that backup center Gino Gradkowski (knee) is closer to being ready to return and could be able to participate in OTAs.
