The Patriots placed Barmore (knee) on injured reserve Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Barmore hasn't played since Week 6 due to a knee injury and will now be sidelined for at least four additional games. Carl Davis and Daniel Ekuale have both seen increased snaps during Barmore's absence, though Davis' role has dwindled over New England's last two contests.
