Patriots' Matthew Slater: Remains with Patriots

Slater signed one-year, $2.62 million deal with the Patriots on Monday, Jim McBride of The Boston Globe reports.

Slater will return to New England for a 15th year as a pro in 2022. The 36-year-old earned second-team All-Pro honors for special teams last season, which is the fifth time in his career he's been named an All-Pro.
