Raiders' Derek Carr: Surpasses 500 yards in overtime victory
Carr completed 40 of 59 passes for 513 yards and four touchdowns during Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.
Carr put up one of the best performances of his young career while leading the Raiders to their sixth win of the season, and significantly boosted his fantasy value in the process. He was in sync with top targets Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree all afternoon, with the two pass catchers combining for 20 total receptions and nearly 300 yards receiving. Carr's only blemish came when he lost a fumble, but he otherwise avoided any major mistakes while connecting with 10 different targets overall. The Raiders host the Broncos in Week 9 and Carr thus will look to keep the momentum rolling against one of the league's toughest defenses.
