Every NFL week starts with a Thursday Night Football game for most of the remainder of the 2021 season, and these are our favorite slates to play Daily Fantasy Football. The TNF showdown slate allows you a smaller crop of players to choose from, and if your cheap sleeper pick hits, you can cash big in your tournaments or easily win your head-to-head DFS matchups.

Every week, I'll get the Thursday Night DFS picks from our experts and we'll feature them below. But first, let's preview the matchup and what we might expect.

Last week was one of the more surprising down-to-the-wire games we've had all season. The Bengals entered as 7.5-point favorites before falling behind 14-0 to the winless Jaguars. A fourth-down stop near the goal line was all the momentum the Bengals needed and Joe Burrow caught fire in the second half to lead the comeback. We hope to get as exciting of a game in Week 5, and it should be with the Seattle Seahawks hosting the new-look Los Angeles Rams.

The Seahawks enter this game 9-0 on Thursday Night Football since 2013 and that includes a 7-1-2 record against the spread. On the flip side, Rams coach Sean McVay is 6-3 against Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and he's done it with Jared Goff. Now he has Matthew Stafford.

Although the line has moved in the Rams favor, they currently sit as 2.5-point road favorites. The Rams might be favorites in this one because the 2021 Seattle defense is considerably worse than even the 2020 version, which was a steep drop-off from the Legion of Boom days that some people still think of when they think of the Seahawks. Seattle has allowed 450 yards of offense or more in three straight games, and that bodes well for all Rams skill players and Stafford on tonight's Daily Fantasy slate.

On the flip side, the Rams looked susceptible to allowing points against Arizona last week, but the Seahawks will likely be without starting running back Chris Carson (neck). Tyler Lockett is also still not expected to be 100 percent healthy for this one. We look forward to the D.K. Metcalf vs. Jalen Ramsey matchup. Seattle might have a tougher time scoring than anticipated in this matchup.
