Campbell said Sunday he intends to return for the 2022 campaign, which will be the 15th season of his career, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Campbell's two-year, $27 million contract with the Ravens has run its course, positioning him to become an unrestricted free agent after having notched just 1.5 sacks across 15 appearances in 2021. Baltimore could be motivated to offer the 35-year-old veteran a one-year deal to reprise his role in the 2022 season, but if Campbell does hit the open market he shouldn't have much difficulty finding a role elsewhere.
