The Ravens designated Hayes (ankle) to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Hayes managed to return to the Ravens' practice for the first time since getting placed on the IR late in September. The former fifth-round pick will look to provide depth support to the Ravens' linebackers once he's activated to the 53-man roster.
