Phillips (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
Phillips suffered the injury Week 15 against the Packers and will miss the rest of the season since it's his second stint on injured reserve. Ben Cleveland will likely start at left guard Sunday against the Rams should Ben Powers (foot) miss his third straight contest.
