Bonnafon was placed on the Panthers' practice squad COVID-19 list Thursday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Bonnafon had just reverted to the practice squad Monday after being active in the Panthers' past three games. Any shot he had at another promotion certainly takes a hit as a result of the late-week transaction.
