Saints' Alvin Kamara: Just 31 yards on 13 touches

Kamara was held in check Sunday, recording just 18 yards on 11 carries while catching two of six targets for 13 yards in a 9-0 win over the Buccaneers.
The Saints were missing several key players all over their offensive lineup, so Tampa Bay's defense was keyed in on Kamara in this low-scoring matchup. The star tailback looked to be operating at full capacity in his impressive return from a knee injury last week (145 total yards and a touchdown), so this rough outing can't be attributed to poor health. For what it's worth, fellow back Mark Ingram (nine carries for 10 yards) didn't fare any better against the Bucs' dominant rush defense, and no New Orleans player averaged more than 3.0 yards per carry. Kamara's fantasy managers who are moving on in the fantasy playoffs will hope for a bounce-back game against the Dolphins next Monday.
