Holmes was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday after testing positive for the virus, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Holmes was promoted off the practice squad in early October and has 14 tackles in six games for New Orleans this season. He'll now be unavailable until he clears the health and safety protocols.
