Collins rushed 20 times for 101 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Steelers.

Collins started again in place of Chris Carson (neck) and turned in his best rushing performance of the season in a tight contest. The veteran back has generally performed well when called upon to replace a starter over the course of his career, and Sunday night was yet another example of that. With Carson being placed on IR this week, Collins will receive at least two more starts before the Seahawks' bye week. Based on the carry distribution (20 of 26 in favor of Collins), he should not be left on waiver wires if he is still available.
