Seahawks' Alex Collins: Not activated for Tuesday's game

Collins (illness) wasn't activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list and won't be available for Tuesday's game against the Rams, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Collins has been tending to an abdominal injury in recent weeks, but it's his positive COVID-19 test that will keep him sidelined Tuesday for the second time in three games. Though Collins is vaccinated, he's apparently still symptomatic of the virus since testing positive Thursday. Collins' absence should give Rashaad Penny some extra security as the Seahawks' clear No. 1 option on the ground in Los Angeles, as DeeJay Dallas and practice-squad call-up Josh Johnson represent the lone depth options behind him.
