Prosise rushed 17 times for 66 yards and caught seven passes for 87 yards in his first career start Sunday as the Seahawks defeated the Patriots, 31-24.

Prosise provided a rushing threat the Seahawks had missed much of the year. He was a weapon in the passing game, too, often splitting out wide. The only negative was his failure to convert a short-yardage touchdown. Nevertheless, Prosise was a great spark to the offense. He ran physically and should get the majority of touches until Thomas Rawls (fibula) returns to full health. At that point, Prosise will at least still be used in the passing game. Christine Michael entered Sunday with a hamstring injury, but Prosise easily put him in the rear-view mirror.
