Coach Pete Carroll says Brown (knee) will likely undergo season-ending surgery to repair a patella tendon injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Brown has come on as a key contributor to Seattle's struggling secondary this season, playing over 50 percent of the team's defensive snaps over the four games prior to Sunday. The rookie accounted for 10 tackles and one pass deflection in five appearances this season before the first-half injury against Arizona. The loss of Brown would likely push cornerback Sidney Jones back into a larger role in Seattle's secondary.
