Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger: Sharp in limited action

Roethlisberger (ankle) completed six of nine passes for 73 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in Saturday's 19-15 preseason loss to the Colts. He also lost a fumble.

As expected, Big Ben played limited snaps, operating the Steelers' first two possessions. He fumbled at the end of the first drive courtesy of a sack by the Colts' John Simon, but he looked sharp otherwise while leading a second series that culminated in a Chris Boswell field goal. Saturday's cameo will serve as the extent of Roethlisberger's preseason exposure, as he'll now turn his attention to preparing for the Sept. 10 opener against the Browns.
