Steelers coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Monday that Haeg is in concussion protocol, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Haeg will be sidelined for an unknown period of time while dealing with a concussion heading into the regular season. The 29-year-old played 12 games with two starts during his first campaign with Pittsburgh last year, and he figures to serve as one of the team's primary backups at offensive tackle in 2022.
