Tuitt (biceps) isn't expected to suit up for the Steelers in their Week 2 matchup with the Vikings on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After Tuitt suffered a biceps injury in the Steelers' Week 1 win over the Browns, the initial expectation was that the defensive end would miss multiple weeks, but coach Mike Tomlin later characterized Tuitt as day-to-day. Tuitt's participation in practice in a limited capacity Friday offered some hope that he might be able to play Sunday, but it appears the 24-year-old is trending toward the doubtful side of the questionable tag. Tuitt's likely absence would clear the way for veteran Tyson Alualu to start at the defensive end spot opposite Cameron Heyward.
